Terms of Service

Welcome to StreamLog. These terms govern your use of the StreamLog service at streamlog.pinenodes.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

StreamLog is a free tool for tracking movies, TV shows, and anime. You can keep personal watchlists or share a list with others, add titles, set watch statuses, rate titles, leave notes, and attach streaming links. The Service is provided as a free, best-effort hobby project.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these terms.

3. Accounts and security

To use the Service you create an account with a valid email address and a password of at least 6 characters. Your email must be verified before you can sign in. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, reset your password or contact us through the feedback form.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the lists, ratings, notes, custom links, and other content you create. You grant StreamLog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and display that content so the Service can function (for example, showing your shared list to its members). You are responsible for the content you add and confirm it does not violate any law or third-party right.

5. Shared lists and invites

A shared list can hold up to 3 members. When you join a shared list, other members can see and edit the titles, ratings, and notes in it. Invite links expire after 7 days and can be used once. If an invite is restricted to an email, only that account can join. Only the list owner can delete a list; members can leave at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access another user's account or private data; scraping or bulk-harvesting data beyond normal use; interfering with the Service (including evading rate limits or overload protection); uploading malicious content; or using the Service for unlawful purposes. StreamLog may suspend accounts that violate this section.

7. Third-party data and links

Title information (posters, descriptions, years, and similar metadata) is retrieved from public sources such as OMDb, TMDB, AniList, and Jikan. Watch links point to third-party streaming services (for example Netflix or Prime Video); those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and StreamLog is not responsible for them. Availability of links depends on each provider.

8. Availability and changes

The Service is free and provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. StreamLog may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, and may remove content that no longer resolves from upstream data sources. Upstream data providers may rate-limit or fail; the Service includes caching and retry behavior to reduce the impact.

9. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. StreamLog does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StreamLog and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because the Service is free, its total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid to use it, which is zero.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your lists and data from the app. StreamLog may suspend or terminate access to accounts that violate these terms or that abuse the Service. You can also ask us to remove your account through the feedback form.

12. Changes to these terms

StreamLog may update these terms from time to time. When material changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
